The decision to go to law school was an easy one for Katie. Having always had the desire to help people, she knew that practicing law would provide that opportunity.

Shortly after graduating law school and passing the bar exam, Katie started Kerschner Law, a solo law practice that served individual, business and nonprofit clients.

Katie’s passion for helping others isn’t limited to the practice of law and has taken her all over the world. In the spring of 2015 Katie put her legal practice on hold for 11 weeks to travel to Iraq. While there, she helped open the first safe home for rescued women and children.

Upon returning to the states, Katie transitioned her practice to focus primarily on drafting custom estate plans for individual clients.

Amy has always desired to help families thrive and secure their futures, and she is eager to continue doing so through custom estate planning.

During law school Amy focused her classes in order to develop the skills needed to help families. In addition to her normal course load and estate planning classes, she also studied family law, alternative dispute resolution, and adoption and victim advocacy.

Since graduating and passing the bar exam Amy has taken on individual clients, giving them personalized attention and crafting the documents they need.
